The Native Tribe believes in exploring topics that will benefit society at large. St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara (1805-1871) was a prominent Indian Catholic priest and social reformer. He was the co-founder of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), a religious congregation that focused on educational, charitable, and social welfare activities. St. Chavara played a pivotal role in the establishment of numerous schools, orphanages, and monasteries across Kerala, India. He emphasized the importance of education, especially for girls and marginalized communities. Known for his humility, devotion, and dedication to the welfare of society, St. Chavara continues to be revered as a visionary leader and a patron saint in Kerala and beyond.
