A Word from the Editor's Desk

In response to the growing interest of scholars, researchers, educators, institutions, and knowledge communities in understanding the interconnected world, The Native Tribe Publication (TNT) is pleased to present Global Studies (GS)—a multidisciplinary publication initiative dedicated to exploring societies, cultures, histories, economies, political systems, institutions, ideas, and relationships across the world.

The contemporary world is increasingly interconnected through trade, migration, technology, diplomacy, education, culture, media, environmental challenges, and knowledge exchange. Yet, many regions, communities, historical experiences, and cross-cultural relationships remain insufficiently documented or are often examined through narrowly defined national or disciplinary perspectives.

Global Studies (GS) seeks to provide a broader platform for understanding these connections. The initiative encourages scholarly and research-based publications that examine countries, regions, communities, civilisations, international relationships, global institutions, and transnational issues from diverse perspectives.

The series may include country-to-country studies, regional studies, comparative studies, cultural and civilizational studies, international relations, global business and economics, migration and diaspora studies, indigenous and community studies, environmental issues, development studies, education, religion, heritage, and other subjects that contribute to a deeper understanding of the interconnected world.

Global Studies (GS) is partially sponsored by The Native Tribe Publication (TNT).

The initiative is envisioned as a continuing multi-volume publication programme, with individual volumes focusing on specific countries, regions, themes, relationships, or global issues. This structure allows the series to grow organically through contributions from scholars and knowledge communities across different parts of the world.

Relevance Today

At the same time, globalisation does not produce identical experiences everywhere. Different communities interpret and experience global change through their own histories, cultures, institutions, and knowledge systems.

Global Studies is conceived as an open-ended, multi-volume publication initiative.

Future volumes may examine individual countries, bilateral relationships, regional connections, civilisations, communities, or specific global themes. For example, the series may include studies such as:
