Being international-minded helps us to understand and accept the world from multi-dimensional aspects. There is a popular saying Think Global – Act Local, It’s so true to its word, from the business point of view we have to be global but still act locally. Moulding our business to the native culture, customs, tradition, belief system, values, and ethics bring more acceptance.

Do We Need To Act Local? Glocal in Global Business

Copying may not help in the long run but Innovation in products and services will help to establish and increase its market share. Products and services need to customize according to the need and demand which best suits the stakeholders.

Personal Experience in International Business

From my experience, I would say that it is better to understand the trends which are already prevailing over the generations, system, society, customs, and mould and work mindfully. Be sensible and respectful to the local culture. Research about the local market will help to make the right decision. Society is multicultural and we need to accept it with open arms, being truly international also means giving equal space to others, being sensible and respectful.
